Michyla Marshall-Tross (aka “cylashots”), is a portrait photographer from Brampton, Ontario.
In previous years, photography was never a path Michyla thought about taking. This changed when she was gifted a camera on her 10th birthday; as she became fascinated that she could capture every moment with a click of a button. Her appreciation for the art was further fuelled when she did a media arts course in high school. As she learnt more about photography and the entire industry she became more and more intrigued. She hopes to one day become a household name in the world of photography. In explaining her passion for photography, Michyla mentions that she experiences “a special sense of elation when I capture someone unique sense of fashion and beauty through portrait photography”.
