Spitty is a conscious rapper from Brampton who is quickly emerging as one of Canada's premiere lyricists. His passion for hip hop arose at a young age; the emotion and energy that can be packed into hip hop music motivated Spitty through his life's struggles. With his own music, he aims to inspire and provide knowledge as best as he can. He has been releasing singles every month, collaborating with fellow MCs such as Timothy Spokes on Judge Me and N.R.M.N on Lockdown. Expect some more singles from Spitty before he begins to roll out his new album.
Speaking on his inspirations, Spitty recalls a key moment from his childhood –
“I have a distinct memory of when my older cousins introduced me to BET. Back when they used to play music videos and had countdowns all the time. The first track that stuck out was In Da Club by 50 Cent. That energy and catchy music is enjoyable no matter when I hear it. The other was I Can by Nas. I was like 7 years old and it felt like Nas was speaking to me. That idea of motivation and knowledge, mixed with enjoyable, catchy music is what I strive to create.”
